Walk Away Support
Pause before you respond.
Walk Away gives you a short pause before you respond. It does not replace iPhone Focus, block all notifications, or send messages automatically.
How It Works
- Choose a mode: Walk Away, Take Space, or Do Not Send.
- Tap the big button.
- Stay with the tiny exit card until the timer finishes, or leave early if you choose.
- Use Share My Pause if you want to tell someone you're taking a little space.
Can Walk Away Pause All Notifications?
No. Consumer iOS apps cannot silently pause every notification. Walk Away includes simple Focus setup guidance so you can use iPhone's built-in Focus features when you want that extra quiet.
Does Walk Away Access My Contacts?
No. Sharing uses Apple's standard share sheet. You choose where the message goes.
What Does Sharing Send?
Sharing creates a first-person message that asks for a short pause. Walk Away never tells another person to calm down and never sends anything automatically.
